We are seeking responsible, highly motivated students with an interest in language and learning to assist with the research project in the Language Acquisition Lab that’s currently ongoing for Summer II. We need students who are interested in transcribing and coding speech production data and designing and conducting experiments on phonotactic learning in adults. This will be in-person, and the task involves transcribing syllables and counting speech errors to help us learn more about what is being learned. Students will get trained on how to look at production data and how to run online data collection (e.g., via Zoom appointments). No previous research experience is required. Please apply now to mid-April if you are interested. We hope you will apply to join us!
