Members of psychology department serve as editors for a journal's special issue on race and racism

Professor Alejandro Lleras and graduate student Julia Spielmann are among the invited editors for a special issue on the impact of race on psychological process. The issue, published in the journal Translation Issues in Psychological Science, presents original research into the ways race is reflected in perceptions of institutions, the impact of race in academia, the role of intersectional identities in research, and what support structures can increase racial equity.
