Psychology faculty receive grants from a variety of funding agencies.

Spring 2022

We are proud to announce the following grants have been awarded to faculty in the Psychology Department during the Spring 2022 semester.

Professor Nathan Todd was given a grant from the Louisville Institute to discover what facilitates religious congregations becoming open and affirming of LGBT members and what barriers communities may face in this process.

Professor Aron Barbey was awarded a grant from the National Pork Board to study how pork consumption impacts cognition, brain health, and physical function.

Professors Nicole Allen and Brent Roberts have been named co-investigators for a grant from the National Science Foundation to develop open-source mobile software aimed at reducing the prevalence and impact of gun violence in local communities.
