Biography
I am a second-year Master student at the Vision Lab, working under the guidance of Dr. Alejandro Lleras and Dr. Simona Buetti. Before my graduate studies, I conducted research on the human aesthetic preference for color-shape associations with personalities during my undergraduate studies. I completed my Bachelor degree in Applied Psychology from Beijing Normal University - Hongkong Baptist University United International College. After earning my master's degree, I aim to continue my work in a doctoral program.

Research Description
Currently, I am working on an ERP study to explore parallel processing at the early stage of attention in visual search. My first-year master's research focused on exploring how top-down instructions influence the attentional weight on color and shape dimensions in visual search tasks. We will use search slopes from unidimensional trials (color or shape) combined with different algorithms to predict bidimensional trial (color and shape) reaction time. Additionally, we will calculate the weight of color and shape dimensions to understand how the human visual system uses different visual attributes to guide search.
