Biography
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BS) from James Madison University in 2023, and I’m currently a Master’s student in Psychological Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have a background studying substance use using humans, and I chose UIUC to gain experience working with animal models and methods. I’m working with Dr. Janice Juraska and the Juraska Lab as they collaborate with Dr. Josh Gulley in studying female’s high susceptibility to methamphetamine misuse in adolescence. My project with the Juraska Lab is focused on determining whether the effects persist after female adolescents are ovariectomized before puberty.
