Sustained Writing Sessions
Keeping a consistent writing schedule can be difficult. The Sustained Writing Sessions provide a committed time to focus on writing tasks in the company of other peers. Each session will consist of goal-sharing, quiet writing time, and end with a celebration of accomplishments. Those who are unable to make the entire session are still welcome to join!
Writing Support Groups
Writing can be very hard work and almost all scientists struggle with writing motivation at one point or another. We have some tips and tricks that could help you organize your writing schedule and boost your writing motivation and productivity. These meetings will take place twice every month in a location TBA. Stay tuned to this page for updates and be on the lookout for emails from us!
Writing Workshops
Workshops will be held to provide tips and advice to improve specific science writing skills. Below is the tentative schedule:
February 8th – Developing a Poster
March 1st – Responding to Manuscript Reviews
March 22nd – Application Materials Part I: Personal Statement/SOPs/Cover Letters and CVs
April 12th – Application Materials Part II: Diversity Statements and Research Statements
May 3rd – TBD
