Writing Support Groups

Writing can be very hard work and almost all scientists struggle with writing motivation at one point or another. We have some tips and tricks that could help you organize your writing schedule and boost your writing motivation and productivity. These meetings will take place twice every month in a location TBA. Stay tuned to this page for updates and be on the lookout for emails from us!

Writing Workshops

Bi-weekly workshops will be held the twice every month to provide tips and advice to improve specific science writing skills. Below is the tentative schedule:

September 7th – Writing Manuscripts with SUCCESS (Simple, Unexpected, Concrete, Credible, Emotional, Stories)

September 21st – NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Proposal Tips

October 5th – Developing a Talk/Presentation

October 19th – Responding to Manuscript Reviews

November 2nd – Personal Statements

November 16th – TBD

December 7th – TBD

These workshops will be in-person and open to all psychology MS and phD students. Be on the lookout for our weekly emails for more info!
