Peer Writing Support is available via:

  1. Zoom - click Book Appointment above and select a Zoom appointment
  2. In-person Office Hours (Room 205) - click Book Appointment above and select an in-person appointment

Please email Eddie at eddiepc2@illinois.edu to share your writing needs in advance (if possible).

Note: We are seeing only graduate (Master's and Ph.D.) students from the Psychology Department.

We have 3 time slots to suit various needs. For most purposes, the 60-minute slot is most appropriate. To reach as many students as possible, we request that students limit bookings to a maximum of 90 minutes a week.

  • 30-min slot (Initial/Follow-Up): This may be good for your first appointment or a brief follow-up. During the session, we can chat about your writing goals and discuss a plan. Generally, this appointment is not sufficient for first-time editing or feedback.
  • 60-min slot (Standard Support): This is our standard appointment time to provide feedback on writing documents (e.g., working papers, manuscripts, fellowship/grad school applications), or to discuss writing systems and goals.
  • 90-min slot (Extended Support):  For feedback on longer documents (e.g., thesis/dissertations), this appointment may be more appropriate. Book a 90 minute appointment if you like more time to go over your writing project.

Alternative Timings

If the time slots posted don't work for you, please email eddiepc2@illinois.edu (cc. psychology.wsc@gmail.com) to request for a time slot that works for both of us (subject to availability).
