WRITING SUPPORT SERVICES
Appointments are on Zoom only.
We are seeing only current Master's and Ph.D. students from the Psychology Department.
We have 3 appointment time periods to suit various needs. For most purposes, the 60-minute appointment is most appropriate.
To reach as many students as possible, we request students limit bookings to a maximum of 90 minutes a week :
- 30-minute Appointment (Initial/Follow-Up): This may be good for your first appointment. We can talk about your writing goals and devise a plan. Otherwise, 30 minutes can be scheduled as a follow-up. Generally, this appointment is not sufficient for first time editing or feedback.
- 60-minute Appointment (Standard Support): This is our standard appointment time to provide feedback on smaller assignments (e.g., thought papers, statements of purpose) or to work on writing fitness and skills.
- 90-minute Appointment (Extended Support): For feedback on larger documents (e.g., manuscripts, fellowship applications, grant proposals), this appointment may be more appropriate. Book a 90 minute appointment if you like more time to go over your writing goals or begin a writing fitness program.

For documents less than 5 pages (doubled-spaced): please email at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
For documents 5 pages or longer: at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
If you would like feedback on longer documents (e.g., thesis/dissertation), please email your document to email@example.com at least one week prior to your appointment.
