
Departmental Distinction is the recognition for excellence in undergraduate research at graduation.
Departmental Distinction may be granted to students who submit a Bachelor's Thesis and receive approval from the Psychology Department.
Requirements:
- Must be a Psychology major
- Must participate in at least three semesters of independent research (PSYC 290 and PSYC 494)
- Must be enrolled in PSYC 494 at the time of Bachelor's Thesis submission
- If you are not enrolled in the Honor’s or Capstone program, submit the form Intention to Submit a Bachelor’s Thesis by the 10th day of the semester when you will graduate
- Submission of the Bachelor’s Thesis and Faculty Support Letter by the posted due dates
