Quantitative Psychology doctoral candidate Hyunjoo Kim has been honored with the highly coveted Research Fellowship for Doctoral Students, sponsored by the Accessible Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Sytems (ATLAS) program at the Achievement & Assessment Institute of the University of Kansas.

ATLAS, a program that significantly impacts student learning, promotes learning and improved outcomes by creating accessible and academically rigorous technology-based learning and assessment systems for all students. It focuses on students with disabilities, struggling learners, and their teachers through several projects aimed at improving student outcomes.

Hyunjoo’s research interests encompass psychometrics, latent variable modeling, network analysis, and cognitive diagnosis models. Her work aligns closely with the mission of the ATLAS program as she explores innovative assessment techniques that accommodate diverse learning needs.
