Former Graduate Student Wins SRCD Early Career Research Contributions Award

Cecilia and Professor Renee Baillargeon

Cecilia Cheung, former graduate student of Eva Pomerantz and Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside,  received the Early Career Research Contributions Award from the Society for Research on Child Development (SRCD).

Also, Cecilia's, dissertation paper (Cheung, Pomerantz, Qu, & Wang (2016). The role of parents' control and autonomy support in the United States and China: Beyond children's reports, published in Child Development) received the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Division E Distinguished Research Award (Human Development). http://www.srcd.org/meetings/biennial-meeting/2017-srcd-awardees
