Research Description
Qiaoxi’s research interests are focused on visual cognition, particularly on what makes certain images more memorable than others. She studies image memorability as an intrinsic property and investigates the factors that influence it. Her current project examines whether memorability will change when images are presented upside down, and whether this spatial manipulation alters event-related potential components associated with semantic processing (N400) and higher-level visual processing (N300).
