Biography
My name is Anxin Miao (pronouns: she/her), and I am a graduate student working with Dr. Aaron S. Benjamin in the Human Memory and Cognition Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I received a B.S. in Psychology from UC San Diego, where I worked with Dr. Timothy Brady and Dr. Maria Robinson (now at the University of Warwick) in Vision and Memory Lab. My primary interest is within cognitive psychology, particularly in combining empirical methods with computational modeling to study visual memory. I am also interested in higher level cognition such as decision making in the context of eyewitness identification.
