AUG 14 | Credit Pool Hours Request Form for Fall 2026 is due at 11:59pm CST. Requests for Prescreen Items for Fall 2026 is due at 11:59pm CST. |
AUG 24 | Classes start. |
AUG 26 | Course credit participant pool opens. Unused priority hours returned BEFORE this date can be 100% refunded. |
SEP 07 | Labor Day (all-campus holiday) |
SEP 25 | Students must be 18 by this date to participate in research studies. Unused priority hours returned BEFORE this date can be 75% refunded. |
OCT 16 | Participation status (credit/no-credit) for all study sessions up to this date must be assigned by 11:59pm CST. Unused priority hours returned before this date can be 50% refunded. |
OCT 26 | Free-for-all period for in-lab studies begins. Unused priority hours returned before this date can be 25% refunded. No returning of hours will be accepted after this date. |
NOV 21 -NOV 29 | Fall Break Free-for-all period for online studies begins on November 23. |
DEC 10 | Reading Day. Final day for students to participate in course credit studies (all studies must be completed by 5:00pm CST). Participation status (credit/no-credit) for all study sessions must be assigned by 11:59pm CST. |
DEC 11 | Course credit participant pool closes. |
DEC 14 | SONA course reports will be sent to instructors |
Note: Students currently located in the territory of the People's Republic of China, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom should ask their instructor for an alternative assignment instead of participating in research.
Note: In one semester (Fall/Spring), students can earn only 2 total credits at most with online studies. Any additional SONA credits should be earned through participating in in-person or virtual (zoom) studies.
