Professor and Associate Dean for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Wendy Heller was recently honored in Montreal with the most prestigious award from the Society for Psychophysiology.

The Distinguished Contributions to Psychophysiology Award is the highest honor given from the SPR, which is the leading international organization spanning all psychophysiology studies employing neuroimaging modalities and biopotential sensors. 

The award has been to leaders in their field since 1969, and the Illinois Psychology Department has collected the most awards in total.

Prof. Heller will join our past winners including, Manny Donchin, Mike Coles, Gergory Miller, and Monica Fabiani and Gabriele Gratton.
