Named Beckman Institute Graduate Fellow

Cognitive Neuroscience Graduate Student Parham Mostame is one of seven graduate students awarded the 2020 Beckman Institute Graduate Fellowship.  He was chosen for his work investigating the role of alpha brain rhythms in attention and alertness. 

The fellowship offers University of Illinois graduate students the opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary research at the Beckman Institute. Each also will present their research at a Spring 2021 Graduate Student Seminar. You can read about Parham and all the 2020 awardees here.
