Research Description
I am interested in examining the mental health disparities affecting Black American and physically disabled communities, particularly when these identities intersect. Black individuals with physical disabilities are severely underrepresented in both research and societal conversations, and I am passionate about addressing this gap. I intend to explore ways to reduce mental health disparities by developing culturally relevant and diverse mental health resources.
