Research Description

My primary interest is in understanding the neural basis of memory, memory encoding and retrieval mechanisms, information processing within neural circuits, and brain and memory change during aging. Further, I am interested in using neural modeling and brain imaging techniques such as EEG, MRI, optical imaging. Recently, I have been gaining knowledge about hippocampal structure and function in older adults.
