I received a B.A. in Civil Engineering (2009) and an M.A. in Psychotherapy (2013) from Sichuan University (China). I worked as a psychotherapist from 2013 to 2018. I am currently pursuing an M.S. Degree in Psychological Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I work with Prof. Monica Fabiani and Prof. Gabriele Gratton in the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab.
- Information processing
My primary interest is in understanding the neural basis of memory, memory encoding and retrieval mechanisms, information processing within neural circuits, and brain and memory change during aging. Further, I am interested in using neural modeling and brain imaging techniques such as EEG, MRI, optical imaging. Recently, I have been gaining knowledge about hippocampal structure and function in older adults.
