Ling Lee received her B.A. in Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing her M.S. in Psychological Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where she works in the Attention and Perception lab directed by Dr. Diane Beck.
My research with my advisor, Dr. Diane Beck, focuses on attention and perception. The research that I am currently involved in assesses the similarity and differences between human object recognition and computer vision using deep learning neural networks. Specifically, we are comparing human and computer object recognition in the absence of context (background).
