I am particularly interested in the ways brain structures processing visual information interact with another. Recent research topics include the neural constraints on visual resolution and dim-light sensitivity, coordination of eye movements with visual perception, neural circuits guiding eye movements to attended visual targets, and the structure of the primate lateral geniculate nucleus.
