Research Description

The aim of my current work is to answer three major questions. First, what are the cognitive mechanisms underlying children's sense of fairness? Second, what is the role of numerical cognition in children's social decision-making? Finally, in addition to teleological and morphological cues what other information do people use when attributing agency to entities? To examine these questions I use behavioral and neuroscientific methods (e.g., fNIRS) with infants, young children, and adults.
