When you were a student here at Illinois, you likely spent a lot of time in the building. Between classes, labs, or office hours, it often became a home base location for the day.
If you wanted to sit for a quick break and fresh air, or grab a bite of food outside, your choices were limited. It wasn't a major inconvenience, but you made a mental note of it.
We have a beautiful patio right in the heart of campus, and our plan is to take advantage of that by adding an outdoor table near the building. It is a simple project, but one we think students will use and enjoy. Having a place to sit outside will make those in-between moments a little easier.
