Biography
Haiye received her B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Davis. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in Psychological Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and expects to graduate in May 2027. She works with Dr. Simona Buetti and Dr. Alejandro Lleras in the Vision Lab.

Research Description
Haiye’s current research examines the relationship between perceived similarity and visual search, specifically whether perceived similarity predicts search efficiency and whether this relationship differs across visual features such as color and shape. More broadly, she is interested in understanding how attention and perception operate in naturalistic, real-world environments.
