Research Description
My primary research interests is about vision science. Specifically, I’m interested in how humans perceive the world and attend to different things. My current project focuses on visual search to study how visual features guide people’s attention in a search scene. We investigate people’s search performanace among different target-distractor similarities in different dimensions. I’m also interested in the capacity of visual working memory, and prior knowledge or top-down controls in visual perception and attention.
I have interests in other areas of cognitive science, such as cross-modal (i.e., audiovisual) processing, task switching, memory, brain health and aging. , I love cognitive neuroscience and am studying neurological methods that I can use to pursue my research questions.
