Research Description
Broadly speaking, I am interested in exploring the mechanisms that lead to the development of psychopathological outcomes in children and adolescents, with the goal of translating this information into meaningful practices. By examining multiple units of analysis, I aim to explore the etiology of different symptoms, how they interact with one another, and what conditions lead to the exacerbation of, as well as the protection against, psychopathological outcomes. Through this, I aim to understand the dynamic relationship among the different socio-cognitive factors that contribute to effective, efficient, and culturally-competent programs.
