If you are an undergraduate student interested in gaining research experience in developmental psychology, feel free to apply to our lab! We are the Developing Equitable Minds Lab (DEML). The overarching goal of the DEML is to conduct research geared towards promoting social equity and preempting the formation of social biases during childhood. To achieve these goals, our projects span a range of interrelated areas.
Currently, we are seeking Research Assistants to join our lab and assist on work in a few different projects to receive PSYC 290 credit. We are looking for students who are available to work 10 hours/week and can commit to at least two consecutive semesters.
If you are interested in researching social biases in children, we encourage you to fill out our lab application to apply! No prior research experience is required. Students interested in developmental psychology and coding are especially encouraged to apply.
To apply, please fill out our lab application form available at this link. Please send an email to our lab (demlab@illinois.edu) letting us know you have completed the application.
We will be reviewing applications until positions are filled. Applicants will be notified via email of the status of their application within 3-5 business days of applying. Feel free to email demlab@illinois.edu with any questions or concerns.
