- Attention and Perception
- Inattentional blindness, change blindness, and change transient
- Fixation and saccade
Her research with Dr. Daniel Simons focuses on inattentional blindness. She aims to explore the reasons why people who fail to notice an unexpected object at the moment of its onset still do not notice it when given more exposure time. She is also curious about how fixations (visual gaze on a signal location) and saccades (a rapid eye movement between fixation points) affect detection of unexpected new objects during a tracking task.
