Yuetian Li received a B.A. in Psychology and Integrative Biology Honor from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Psychological Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She works with Dr. Sepideh Sadaghiani in the Control & Network Connectivity Team (CONNECT Lab) and Dr. Karen Rudolph in the Family Studies Lab.
Broadly speaking, her research interests are related to understanding psychopathology using an integrative, multi-level approach that includes neuroimaging techniques, longitudinal survey research and interviews. Her project at CONNECT Lab aims to investigate the behavioral, cognitive and neural differences between depressed and healthy populations. Her project at Family Studies Lab aims to investigate how social goals predict stress responses and ultimately contribute to nonsuicidal self-injury and suicide behaviors in adolescents.
